The Bunnell Bulldogs baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers to 3 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Monday.

The Bulldogs (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Platt RVT (Milford, CT). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Platt RVT was overwhelmed by Bullard-Havens (Bridgeport, CT), 7-3, in a league outing.

Next, the Hilltoppers confront the Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) in a Fairfield County outing, on Tuesday, April 5. Bridgeport Central will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Wreckers go into the outing with a 1-0 record after their 8-3 non-league win over Notre Dame (West Haven, CT).
