Indiana High School Baseball - Charlestown holds off South Central

Charlestown Pirates (Charlestown, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting South Central Rebels (Elizabeth, IN), 7-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, Charlestown upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Pirates travel to Jennings County (North Vernon, IN) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 6. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 2-1. Jennings County won 17-11 in their recent non-league test against Norwell (Ossian, IN)

With the defeat, South Central falls to 0-4 on the season. The Rebels host Scottsburg (Scottsburg, IN) to battle the Warriors in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 5. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 0-2. Scottsburg lost 5-1 in their recent non-league test against Christian Academy-Louisville (Louisville, KY)
