The Medford Cardinals baseball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Cherokee Chiefs to 2 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Monday.
The Cardinals (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Timberlake (Helena, OK). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Timberlake ran past Garber (Garber, OK), 4-3, in a non-league match.
The Chiefs (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Waynoka (Waynoka, OK). The Railroaders go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record.
