The Shade Panthers baseball team scored 22 runs and limited the host Forbes Road to 7 in the Panthers non-league victory on Monday.
The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Ferndale (Johnstown, PA). The Yellow Jackets go into the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Ferndale was overwhelmed by Shanksville Stonycreek (Shanksville, PA), 13-2, in a non-league match.
The (0-3) will now prepare for their match against McConnellsburg (McConnellsburg, PA). The Spartans go into the Inter-County - South match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, McConnellsburg was overwhelmed by Everett (Everett, PA), 13-3, in a league match.
