The Windsor Wizards baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Pueblo East Eagles to 4 in the Wizards non-league victory on Monday.
The Wizards (7-2) will now prepare for their match against Longmont (Longmont, CO). The Trojans come into the 4A/5A NCAA challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Longmont nipped Holy Family (Broomfield, CO), 8-3, in a league challenge.
With the defeat, Pueblo East falls to 6-4 on the season. The Eagles host Trinidad (Trinidad, CO) to battle the Miners in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 6. The Miners come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Trinidad won 29-0 in their recent league challenge against Center (Center, CO)
