New York High School Baseball - Schenectady loses to Saratoga Springs

The Saratoga Springs Blue Streaks crushed the visiting Schenectady Patriots baseball team by a tally of 12-1 in Monday's league bout.

The Blue Streaks now hold a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Averill Park for a Section 2 Suburban - Blue bout on Wednesday, April 6. Saratoga Springs will face a Warriors team coming off a 15-7 non-league win over Scotia-Glenville (Scotia, NY). The Warriors record now stands at 2-0.

Next, the Patriots face the Christian Brothers Academy Brothers (Albany, NY) in a Section 2 Suburban - Blue bout, on Wednesday, April 6. Schenectady will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Brothers enter the bout with a 3-0 record after their 8-4 non-league win over South Glens Falls (South Glens Falls, NY).
