The Watertown Indians crushed the host Seymour Wildcats baseball team by a count of 8-2 in Monday's league bout.
The Indians now possess a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodland Regional for a Naugatuck Valley - Copper bout on Friday, April 8.
Next, the Wildcats face the Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 7. Seymour will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Abbott RVT (Danbury, CT).
