The East Greenwich Avengers lacrosse team scored 15 points and held the host Westerly Bulldogs to 8 in the Avengers league win on Monday.

The Avengers (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Barrington (Barrington, RI). The Eagles go into the State Championship Division match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Barrington nudged Cumberland (Cumberland, RI), 19-3, in a league match.

The Bulldogs (0-2) will now prepare for their match against La Salle Academy (Providence, RI). The Rams go into the State Championship Division match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, La Salle Academy nudged South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI), 14-13, in a league match.
