The Salem Spartans triumphed over the host Cave Spring Knights lacrosse team by a score of 18-2 in Monday's league match.
With the win, Salem upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Spartans travel to Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA) to play the Eagles in a non-league match on Wednesday, April 6. With the defeat, Cave Spring drops to 3-3 on the season. The Knights travel to Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA) to play the Titans in a River Ridge match on Friday, April 8. The Titans go into the match with a record of 2-2. Hidden Valley won 12-11 in their recent non-league match against Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA)
