Wilbur Cross Governors (New Haven, CT) followers exited the stadium content Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting Cromwell Panthers (Cromwell, CT), 9-5 in a non-league battle.

The Governors now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Shelton for a Southern Connecticut battle on Thursday, April 7. Wilbur Cross will clash with a Gaels squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Masuk (Monroe, CT). The Gaels record now stands at 0-1.

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Valley Regional Warriors (Deep River, CT) in a Shoreline battle, on Tuesday, April 5. Cromwell will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
