The Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies lacrosse team scored 8 points and held the visiting Xenia Buccaneers to 1 in the Johnnies non-league win on Monday.
The Johnnies (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Licking Valley (Newark, OH). The Panthers go into the Region 7 game with a 1-4 record.
The Buccaneers (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Wilmington (Wilmington, OH). The Hurricane go into the non-league game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Wilmington was overwhelmed by Kings (Kings Mill, OH), 20-2, in a non-league game.
