Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Adams Central Flying Jets (Monroe, IN) and the host Shenandoah Raiders (Middletown, IN), witnessed Adams Central's softball squad tip Shenandoah by a count of 5-3.

The Flying Jets now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Parkway for a non-league match on Friday, April 8.

With the loss, Shenandoah moves to 1-2 on the season. The Raiders host Pendleton Heights (Pendleton, IN) to meet the Arabians in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 5. The Arabians go into the match with a record of 2-0. Pendleton Heights won 8-6 in their recent non-league match against Center Grove (Greenwood, IN)
