The Tri-City/Sangamon Valley Storm softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Auburn Trojans to 2 in the Storm non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Tri-City/Sangamon Valley moves its record to 6-1 on the year. The Storm host Pawnee (Pawnee, IL) to play the Indians in a MSM game on Tuesday, April 5. The Indians come into the game with a record of 0-4. Pawnee lost 15-0 in their recent non-league game against Staunton (Staunton, IL)

In their next game, the Trojans play the Pleasant Plains Cardinals (Pleasant Plains, IL) in a Sangamo game, on Thursday, April 7. Auburn will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record.
