Bishop Montgomery Knights (Torrance, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting St. Bernard Vikings (Playa del Rey, CA), 20-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights now own a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to La Salle for a Camino Real challenge on Tuesday, April 5. Bishop Montgomery will battle a Lancers squad coming off a 8-7 league loss to Serra (Gardena, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 3-7.

With the loss, St. Bernard falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary (Montebello, CA) to battle the Cardinals in a Camino Real challenge on Tuesday, April 5. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a record of 4-10. Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary lost 5-2 in their recent league challenge against St. Monica (Santa Monica, CA)
