Flora Wolves (Flora, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Dieterich Movin Maroons (Dieterich, IL), 13-8 in a non-league challenge.

The Wolves now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hamilton County for a Black Diamond East challenge on Tuesday, April 5. Flora will face a Foxes squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IL). The Foxes record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Dieterich falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Movin maroons travel to Oblong (Oblong, IL) to face the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 5. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 0-5. Oblong lost 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Richland County (Olney, IL)
