The Tremont Turks softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host LeRoy Panthers to 4 in the Turks league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Tremont moves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Turks travel to Illini Bluffs (Glasford, IL) to play the Tigers in a non-league game on Thursday, April 7. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 2-1.
In their next game, the Panthers play the El Paso-Gridley Titans (El Paso, IL) in a Heart of Illinois game, on Wednesday, April 6. LeRoy will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Titans come into the game with a 1-2 record after their 15-1 non-league loss to St. Bede (Peru, IL).
