Robinson Maroons (Robinson, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host South Knox Spartans (Vincennes, IN), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Maroons now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marshall for a Little Illini challenge on Thursday, April 7. Robinson will battle a Lions squad coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Paris (Paris, IL). The Lions record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, South Knox falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Spartans host North Knox (Bicknell, IN) to battle the Warriors in a Blue Chip challenge on Friday, April 8. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
