Valle Catholic Warriors (Ste. Genevieve, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting St. Paul Lutheran Giants (Farmington, MO), 20-5 in a league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Arcadia Valley for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 6.

With the loss, St. Paul Lutheran falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Giants travel to Ellington (Ellington, CT) to battle the Knights in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 7. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Ellington won 18-3 in their recent league challenge against Suffield (West Suffield, CT)
