Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles (Beckley, WV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Wyoming East Warriors (New Richmond, WV), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Flying Eagles now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Greenbrier East for a challenge on Wednesday, April 6. Woodrow Wilson will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Oak Hill (Oak Hill, WV). The Spartans record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Wyoming East falls to 7-7 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to WestSide (Clear Fork, WV) to battle the Renegades in a Coalfield AA challenge on Tuesday, April 5. The Renegades enter the challenge with a record of 2-3. WestSide won 5-4 in their recent league challenge against Liberty (Glen Daniel, WV)
