Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Ariton Purple Cats (Ariton, AL) and the host Rehobeth Rebels (Dothan, AL), saw Ariton's baseball squad knock off Rehobeth by a count of 13-7.

Coming up next, the Purple Cats play the Zion Chapel Rebels (Jack, AL) in a 2A Area 3 battle, on Thursday, April 6. Ariton will attempt to move on its 17-7 season record.

The Rebels now possess a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they host Pike Liberal Arts for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 8. Rehobeth will play a Patriots squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Lincoln (Tallahassee, FL). The Patriots record now stands at 13-9.
