The Frontenac Raiders crushed the visiting Independence Bulldogs baseball team by a count of 13-3 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Raiders now possess a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Mary's-Colgan for a Crawford-Neosho-Cherokee bout on Thursday, April 6. Frontenac will face a Panthers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Girard (Girard, KS). The Panthers record now stands at 2-0.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Field Kindley Golden Tornado (Coffeyville, KS) in a Southeast Kansas bout, on Thursday, April 6. Independence will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Golden Tornado enter the bout with a 1-4 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Labette County (Altamont, KS).
