In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Oxnard Yellowjackets baseball team scored a nice 11-1 victory over the Monte Vista Monarchs.
The Yellowjackets (7-7) will now prepare for their game against Calexico (Calexico, CA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 7-4 record. In their last game, Calexico was overwhelmed by Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA), 3-2, in a non-league game.
The Monarchs (5-7) will now prepare for their game against El Diamante (Visalia, CA). The Miners go into the non-league game with a 11-4 record. In their last game, El Diamante overcame Brawley (Brawley, CA), 5-4, in a non-league game.
