Colorado High School Baseball - Rocky Ford loses to St. Mary's

The Rocky Ford Meloneers baseball team (Rocky Ford, CO), was overwhelmed 16-1 in Tuesday's non-league outing with the host St. Mary's Pirates (Colorado Springs, CO)

The Pirates now hold a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Peyton for a non-league outing on Saturday, April 8. St. Mary's will confront a Panthers team coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Custer County (Westcliffe, CO). The Panthers record now stands at 8-0.

Next, the Meloneers confront the Crowley County Chargers (Ordway, CO) in a 2A/1A Santa Fe outing, on Saturday, April 8. Rocky Ford will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Chargers go into the outing with a 3-4 record after their 8-1 league loss to Holly (Holly, CO).
