The New Fairfield Rebels lacrosse team scored 19 points and held the visiting Trumbull Eagles to 0 in the Rebels non-league win on Tuesday.
The Rebels (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT). The Lancers go into the South West game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Notre Dame Catholic was overwhelmed by Westhill (Stamford, CT), 18-5, in a non-league game.
The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Danbury (Danbury, CT). The Hatters go into the Fairfield County-West game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Danbury prevailed over Immaculate (Danbury, CT), 13-6, in a non-league game.
