Niskayuna Silver Warriors (Niskayuna, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Albany Academy for Girls Bears (Albany, NY), 10-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Silver Warriors now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Albany for a Section 2 Suburban - Blue challenge on Wednesday, April 5. Niskayuna will face a Falcons squad coming off a 17-1 league loss to Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake (Burnt Hills, NY). The Falcons record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Albany Academy for Girls falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Mohonasen (Schenectady, NY) to face the Warriors in a Section 2 Colonial challenge on Tuesday, April 11. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 2-2.
