Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Farina South Central Cougars (Farina, IL) and the host Altamont Indians (Altamont, IL), witnessed Farina South Central's softball squad tip Altamont by a count of 5-0.

The Cougars now sport a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Dieterich for a National Trail test on Thursday, April 6.

The Indians (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Teutopolis (Teutopolis, IL). The Wooden Shoes enter the non-league test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Teutopolis was routed by Greenville (Greenville, IL), 8-7, in a non-league test.
