Atlantic Shores Christian Seahawks (Chesapeake, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Norfolk Academy Bulldogs (Norfolk, VA), 11-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Seahawks now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Portsmouth Christian for a Metropolitan challenge on Tuesday, April 18. Atlantic Shores Christian will face a Patriots squad coming off a 20-1 non-league loss to Southampton Academy (Courtland, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 2-7.

With the loss, Norfolk Academy falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Nansemond-Suffolk Academy (Suffolk, VA) to face the Saints in a Tidewater Independent challenge on Thursday, April 13. The Saints enter the challenge with a record of 7-4. Nansemond-Suffolk Academy won 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Greenbrier Christian Academy (Chesapeake, VA)
