The Iota Bulldogs (Iota, LA) softball routed the host Bell City Bruins (Bell City, LA), 12-6 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs (8-12) will now prepare for their bout against Church Point (Church Point, LA). The Bears go into the 3A District 4 bout with a 6-15 record. In their last bout, Church Point held off Ville Platte (Ville Platte, LA), 14-4, in a league bout.
The Bruins now possess a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Hathaway for a non-league bout on Wednesday, April 5. Bell City will confront a Hornets squad coming off a 19-6 non-league loss to Gueydan (Gueydan, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 0-4.
