Florida High School Softball - Branford holds off Taylor County

The Branford Buccaneers the host Taylor County Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 4-2 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Buccaneers (13-2) will now prepare for their battle against Dixie County (Cross City, FL). The Bears go into the non-league battle with a 11-4 record. In their last battle, Dixie County nudged Aucilla Christian (Monticello, FL), 11-0, in a non-league battle.

The Bulldogs now sport a 9-5 record. They play next when they host Lincoln for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 6. Taylor County will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Maclay (Tallahassee, FL). The Trojans record now stands at 6-7.
