Indiana High School Softball - Brown County gets by Eastern Greene

April 4, 2023: Nashville, IN 47448

Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Brown County Eagles (Nashville, IN) and the visiting Eastern Greene Thunderbirds (Bloomfield, IN), witnessed Brown County's softball squad tip Eastern Greene by a count of 9-8.

The Eagles now sport a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Columbus East for a non-league match on Friday, April 7. Brown County will face a Olympians squad coming off a 8-2 league loss to Floyd Central (Floyds Knobs, IN). The Olympians record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Eastern Greene moves to 0-3 on the season. The Thunderbirds travel to Northeast Dubois (Dubois, IN) to face the Jeeps in a non-league match on Saturday, April 8. The Jeeps go into the match with a record of 2-1. Northeast Dubois lost 4-3 in their recent non-league match against Jasper (Jasper, IN)
