In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host St. Thomas More Sabers softball team scored a close 9-7 win over the Chrisman Cardinals.
Coming up next, the Sabers battle the Bloomington Central Catholic Saints (Bloomington, IL) in a Illini Prairie outing, on Thursday, April 13. St. Thomas More will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
The Cardinals (2-3) will now prepare for their outing against Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin (Bismarck, IL). The Blue Devils enter the Vermilion Valley outing with a 3-5 record. In their last outing, Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin tipped Oakwood (Fithian, IL), 14-3, in a league outing.
