Christ Our Rock Lutheran Silver Stallions (Centralia, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Wayne City Indians (Wayne City, IL), 4-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Silver Stallions now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Waltonville for a challenge on Wednesday, April 5. Christ Our Rock Lutheran will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 8-6 non-league loss to Nashville (Nashville, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Wayne City falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Grayville (Grayville, IL) to battle the Bison in a Midland Trail challenge on Thursday, April 6. The Bison enter the challenge with a record of 0-4. Grayville lost 13-0 in their recent league challenge against Odin/Patoka/Sandoval (Sandoval, IL)
