Crestview Knights (Convoy, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Hicksville Aces (Hicksville, OH), 7-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Leipsic for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 6. Crestview will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over McComb (McComb, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Hicksville falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Aces host Edgerton (Edgerton, OH) to battle the Bulldogs in a Green Meadows challenge on Thursday, April 6. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 0-2. Edgerton lost 13-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Eastside (Butler, IN)
