The Hornets now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Murphysboro for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 5. Nashville will battle a Red Devils squad coming off a 11-3 league win over Herrin (Herrin, IL). The Red Devils record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Waltonville falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Christ Our Rock Lutheran (Centralia, IL) to battle the Silver Stallions in a Midland Trail challenge on Wednesday, April 5. The Silver Stallions enter the challenge with a record of 3-2. Christ Our Rock Lutheran won 12-5 in their recent league challenge against Marquette Catholic (Alton, IL)
