With the triumph, Pomperaug moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Panthers host Amity Regional (Woodbridge, CT) to play the Spartans in a non-league contest on Thursday, April 6. The Spartans come into the contest with a record of 1-0. Amity Regional won 15-2 in their recent non-league contest against Lyman Hall (Wallingford, CT)

In their next game, the Wolverines play the Woodland Regional Hawks (Beacon Falls, CT) in a Naugatuck Valley - Brass contest, on Wednesday, April 5. Oxford will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Hawks come into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 10-2 league win over Torrington (Torrington, CT).
