The Mustangs now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Newtown for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 5. Warde will face a Nighthawks squad coming off a 7-2 non-league win over St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT). The Nighthawks record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Shelton falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Gaels host North Haven (North Haven, CT) to face the Nighthawks in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 5. The Nighthawks enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. North Haven won 11-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Staples (Westport, CT)
