Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Bixby Spartans (Bixby, OK) and the visiting Salina Wildcats (Salina, OK), saw Bixby's baseball squad knock off Salina by a count of 9-1.

Coming up next, the Spartans play the Sapulpa Chieftains (Sapulpa, OK) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 5. Bixby will attempt to move on its 15-3 season record. The Chieftains enter the battle with a 20-3 record after their 8-1 league loss to Collinsville (Collinsville, OK).

The Wildcats now possess a 15-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Har-Ber for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 6. Salina will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Nixa (Nixa, MO). The Wildcats record now stands at 14-4.
