The Model Patriots crushed the visiting Burgin Bulldogs baseball team by a tally of 12-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Patriots now hold a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they host Lincoln County for a non-league bout on Monday, April 8. Model will face a Patriots team coming off a 12-4 non-league win over Crittenden County (Marion, KY). The Patriots record now stands at 7-4.
Next, the Bulldogs face the East Jessamine Jaguars (Nicholasville, KY) in a District 46 bout, on Monday, April 8. Burgin will attempt to advance on its 0-11 season record. The Jaguars enter the bout with a 4-6 record after their 11-1 non-league win over Bluegrass United (Lexington, KY).
