Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Fort Cobb-Broxton Mustangs (Fort Cobb, OK) and the host Elgin Owls (Elgin, OK), saw Fort Cobb-Broxton's baseball squad edge Elgin by a margin of 4-3.

Coming up next, the Mustangs play the Marlow Outlaws (Marlow, OK) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 5. Fort Cobb-Broxton will attempt to better on its 6-5 season record.

The Owls now sport a 14-3 record. They take the field next when they host MacArthur for a 5A District 2 battle on Monday, April 8. Elgin will play a Highlanders squad coming off a 11-1 league loss to Altus (Altus, OK). The Highlanders record now stands at 11-10.
