The St. Edward Eagles baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Johnson Central Golden Eagles to 2 in the Eagles non-league victory on Thursday.
The Eagles (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Mayfield (Mayfield, OH). The Wildcats go into the non-league match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Mayfield was overwhelmed by Padua Franciscan (Parma, OH), 6-3, in a non-league match.
The Golden Eagles (6-7) will now prepare for their match against Northside Christian (St. Petersburg, FL). The Mustangs go into the non-league match with a 11-5 record. In their last match, Northside Christian edged Strong Rock Christian (Locust Grove, GA), 8-1, in a non-league match.
