In Thursday's non-league game, the host Putnam Kingsmen baseball team scored a nice 14-0 victory over the Roosevelt Roughriders.
The Kingsmen (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Nelson (Happy Valley, OR). The go into the non-league game with a 5-5 record. In their last game, Nelson was overwhelmed by La Salle (Milwaukie, OR), 1-0, in a non-league game.
The Roughriders (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Grant (Portland, OR). The Generals go into the 6A Portland Interscholastic game with a 6-3 record. In their last game, Grant overcame Ida B. Wells (Portland, OR), 6-4, in a league game.
