Arizona High School Baseball - Safford defeats Sabino

Safford Bulldogs (Safford, AZ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Sabino Sabercats (Tucson, AZ), 10-4 in a league test.

With the win, Safford upgrades its record to 11-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Palo Verde (Tucson, AZ) to battle the Titans in a 3A South test on Friday, April 5. The Titans come into the test with a record of 5-10. Palo Verde lost 8-3 in their recent non-league test against St. Augustine Catholic (Tucson, AZ)

With the defeat, Sabino falls to 5-12 on the season. The Sabercats travel to Marana (Tucson, AZ) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Saturday, April 6. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 8-11. Marana lost 12-2 in their recent league test against Sunnyside (Tucson, AZ)
