The Valley Park Hawks baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Valmeyer Pirates to 0 in the Hawks non-league victory on Thursday.
The Hawks (6-3) will now prepare for their match against Brentwood (Brentwood, MO). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Brentwood was overwhelmed by Jefferson (Festus, MO), 4-3, in a non-league match.
The Pirates (8-3) will now prepare for their match against Steeleville (Steeleville, IL). The Warriors go into the Cahokia - Kaskaskia match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, Steeleville ran past Okawville (Okawville, IL), 10-0, in a non-league match.
