South County Stallions (Lorton, VA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Wakefield Warriors (Arlington, VA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Stallions face the West Potomac Wolverines (Alexandria, VA) in a challenge, on Monday, April 8. South County will attempt to better on its 4-0 season record. The Wolverines enter the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Justice (Falls Church, VA).

The Warriors now have a 0-1 record.
