The Oceanside Sailors lacrosse team scored 13 points and held the visiting Carle Place Frogs to 6 in the Sailors league win on Thursday.

The Sailors (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Friends Academy (Locust Valley, NY). The Quakers go into the Section 8 C match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Friends Academy was overwhelmed by Lynbrook (Lynbrook, NY), 7-5, in a non-league match.

The Frogs (0-3) will now prepare for their match against Mepham (North Bellmore, NY). The Pirates go into the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Mepham nudged Bethpage (Bethpage, NY), 16-8, in a league match.
