Weston Trojans (Weston, CT) boosters exited the stadium content Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT), 14-4 in a league battle.

The Trojans now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Amity Regional for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 6. Weston will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 18-4 league win over Sheehan (Wallingford, CT). The Spartans record now stands at 2-0.

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Brookfield Bobcats (Brookfield, CT) in a South West battle, on Tuesday, April 9. Pomperaug will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Bobcats come into the battle with a 2-0 record after their 12-7 non-league win over Bethel (Bethel, CT).
