In Thursday's non-league test, the host Ridgewood Maroons lacrosse squad scored a good 20-9 victory over the Verona Hillbillies.

The Maroons now have a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hunterdon Central for a non-league test on Saturday, April 6. Ridgewood will face a Red Devils squad coming off a 16-6 league loss to The Pingry School (Martinsville, NJ). The Red Devils record now stands at 0-1.

In their next game, the Hillbillies face the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders (Scotch Plains, NJ) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 6. Verona will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Raiders come into the test with a 1-1 record after their 13-6 league loss to Glen Rock (Glen Rock, NJ).
