The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Franklin Panthers (Franklin, NC) and the host Murphy Bulldogs (Murphy, NC), saw Franklin's soccer squad knock off Murphy by a margin of 3-0.

The Panthers now sport a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to West Henderson for a Mountain Seven 3A test on Monday, April 8. Franklin will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 9-0 league win over Smoky Mountain (Sylva, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 9-0.

With the loss, Murphy drops to 7-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Cherokee (Cherokee, NC) to meet the Braves in a Smoky Mountain 1A test on Monday, April 15. The Braves come into the test with a record of 3-4. Cherokee lost 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Asheville School (Independent) (Asheville, NC)
