Lafayette Lancers (Wildwood, MO) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Lindbergh Flyers (St. Louis, MO), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lancers confront the Marquette Mustangs (Chesterfield, MO) in a Class 4 District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, April 9. Lafayette will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Kirkwood (Kirkwood, MO).

The Flyers now possess a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cor Jesu Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 5.
