The Nutley Maroon Raiders lacrosse team scored 17 points and held the visiting Edison Eagles to 2 in the Maroon Raiders non-league win on Thursday.
The Maroon Raiders (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Pompton Lakes (Pompton Lakes, NJ). The Cardinals go into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Pompton Lakes was overwhelmed by Hawthorne (Hawthorne, NJ), 4-3, in a league match.
